Scientika was founded in 2008 as a platform for public innovation and social transformation, committed to making knowledge a tool for collective well-being.
From its beginnings, it has supported young leaders with a vocation for service, articulating local and international knowledge to face major social and territorial challenges.
Inspired by the legacy of Dr. Sam Pitroda, a scientist and technology sovereignty strategist in India, Scientika promotes a collaborative, critical, and technology-centric methodology with a social purpose.
With a global perspective and national roots, we design and promote projects that strengthen the State, democratize knowledge, and respond to the real needs of communities.

Javier Jileta (Founder) is an economist from ITAM and UCL and an expert in urban planning. He served as Director General and leader of the COVID-19 Task Force at the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs, overseeing vaccine portfolio development and negotiations with Mexico under Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard. He has codified Mexico's foreign policy and edited key publications such as *Mexico City: A Knowledge Economy*.
